Here's my latest review for the Informed SLP (www.theinformedslp.com). This piece is written for speech therapists doing stuttering therapy, and unfortunately full access is limited to those with a paid subscription (copyright). The review is distilled from the clinical recommendations of Gore and Margulis, 2023, to integrate Meta-Therapy as a conceptual guide for determining which tools are most relevant for your stuttering patient. Essentially, the approach is a framework to first define the destination (goals of treatment) and then choose strategies and tools to define the therapeutic path.
I'm a big fan of this clinician/researcher's (Katie Gore) blog for real and pragmatic tools for clinic and teaching. Here's one of my favorites from her: www.speechirl.com/stop-with-the-stuttering-disfluency-counts .
